Diverse and vibrant school community

St Gabriel's Catholic Primary School thrives within the parish of St Gabriel’s Reservoir.

We would like to acknowledge the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, who are the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which this School stands. We would also like to pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging of the Kulin Nation and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We continue to provide Education influenced and supported by the Australian Curriculum. We ensure all areas of the curriculum are designed with a concept-based approach and ‘drenched’ in our ‘place’ of being – Reservoir.

Parents/guardians/carers are the first educators of their children. By enrolling a child in St Gabriel’s, parents/guardians/carers are entering into a partnership to promote and support their child’s education, in particular their education in faith.

While the school promotes access to a Catholic education through the school enrolment policy, it is the parent/guardian/carers’ responsibility to support the school in furthering the spiritual and academic life of their child.
